Summary
Svetlana and Cliff are good friends to Ilya, as they both work together to care for Ilya during the worst year of Ilya's life (2016) it becomes increasingly more difficult to deny their attraction for each other.
They combine their forces to comfort Ilya as he goes through relationship problems with his multiple yearlong fuck buddy. As Ilya loses his mind over the course of the year, the two of them work together to speculate over his 'lover' possibly being Shane Hollander. It becomes harder and harder for them to resist each other as their own friendship develops.

“I was thinking,” Shane says without looking up from his salmon, “about how you guys said it was okay if I wanted to bring someone over for Christmas?”
Yuna gasps sharply, but David speaks before she can. “Of course, son.” He says warmly. “Do you have someone you want to invite?”
Shane nods slowly, eyes still glued to his plate. He takes a deep breath before looking up, not quite meeting David or Yuna’s eyes, but rather staring off at the space between them. “Can we have Christmas at the cottage? I’m… I mean, we are pretty private and I don’t want to have to explain to the neighbors—”
His son is blushing bright red, but all David can think about is ‘we’. Since when are Shane and this mystery person a ‘we’? Just how serious is this relationship?
He had noticed that Shane’s on his phone a lot. That on the rare occasion that David manages to stir the conversation away from hockey, Shane would bring up things he’d never shown interest in before: movies about racing cars or international music.
David had figured that there was someone in his son’s life, but not that they were a ‘we’.

“Oh, I’m not sure you’re supposed to smoke here,” Hollander said as Ilya grabbed his hand. He had forgotten he was even smoking.
“Okay,” replied Ilya. With his other hand, he quickly pulled the cigarette from his mouth and let it hang between his fingers. He didn’t let go of Hollander.
“You’re an awesome player to watch,” Hollander’s eyes shifted to their hands.
“Yes,” Ilya said.
There was a silence then, and Hollander withdrew his hand slowly. Ilya’s eyes didn’t leave his cheeks, admiring how his freckles look with a rose tint.

Summary
The Dursleys have had enough and decided well, since Harry is now a teenager surely he can work for his own keep and sent him off to get a job as they will no longer be providing him with his needs (not like they did that anyway) and surely he can start helping pay the bills. Harry fortunately found a job that is nearby, a grocery store. As Harry settles in on this new routine he gets used it until one day on the checkout line he runs into the last person he wants to see.
"P-professor Snape?"
"Potter!"
For Harry it appears to be that things seem to be getting worse but finds that perhaps this is the start of something good.
