Summary
The first Wizarding War brought many losses, and it left many orphans.
Harry was adopted by Sirius and Remus after Pettigrew was thrown into Azkaban. He's sorted into Gryffindor, just like his parents were, and he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and they become best friends.
Draco grew up as the youngest, only non-ginger Weasley. He's sorted into Hufflepuff, and he's hopelessly in love with his brother's best friend.
In Draco's sixth year, with escaped death eaters that seem to be particularly interested in him, rumours that Voldemort might be back for the frist time since Harry Potter defeated him as a baby, and everyone hiding things from him, it seems like his crush on Potter is no longer Draco's biggest problem.

”You alright, Little Malfoy?”
‘You alright, Baby Black?’
Regulus glared at Potter. They stood here, once. Regulus’ eyes were just as grey as Draco’s are now.
Draco blinked, “Naturally. Come on, Tall Weasleys, I don’t have all day.”
OR
Draco Malfoy is ecstatic to get his Hogwarts letter, as any eleven year old would be. But fate, however, deems that the perfect time to awaken his seer abilities, rattling him to his very soul with strange visions of both the past and the future, and throwing his magic into chaos.
And when he keeps on seeing Regulus Black drowning in his nightmares? Well, there’s only one thing he can do: visit Number Twelve Grimmauld Place.
Except the old townhouse comes with more than he bargained for, and Draco finds himself thrust into politics and magic he didn’t expect…

Summary
Jason Todd grew up with a fundamental fear of being seen. Not in the sense of shyness, but in the sense of shame. He supposed, if he wished to contemplate the fear’s origins, he might start where most tragedies do:
The house he grew up in.
Where the act of wanting was as good as a death sentence to that desire.
He supposed he might even make an argument for the statement “people become what they are called”. He thinks that might have some merit, looking back.
What he fears most, (like most other people), is how obvious it is to others. The fear itself.
He wonders if they can see it.or
Thanks to a rogue meta, the batfam gets to watch Jason's memories like a movie; and Jason just really wants a family again. But you cannot be loved if you aren't known, and well... if circumstances provide? might as well take the chance, right?

Summary
Jason’s 15. Not old enough to drink but still knows enough to break a man 10 different ways before they could blink. If that doesn’t make people question Bruce’s psychological state as a person, let alone a parent, then he doesn’t know what will.
He runs because he's not needed anymore. Because Bruce took away everything that ever meant anything to him, leaving him as just plain old Jason Todd.
He runs because at least he can keep his head held high.

Summary
Bruce didn’t even protest at the swearing, or the tone. He just swallowed and glanced at the figure behind him before turning back around. The voice he used, soft and broken, was unlike anything Jason had ever heard.
“This,” he said, looking back at Jason, “is Thomas Wayne.”
Bruce breathed in deeply before continuing.
“My father.”
~ Bruce convinces Thomas to come with him during the Button storyline. Jason meets his grandfather.
