Green knows this but...it still hurts... it's still painful when tries and fails to recall his name and those around him...he...he Doesn't know who this 'Lavender' Is and he sure as hell has never met this homeless person who thinks he can be a hero...or that he has a chance at anything...but it's not like he had anything better to do right?

Mira lifted her gaze, a slow smile curving her mouth. “We still have more to offer,” she said. “You wouldn’t want to miss the best part, would you?”
Zoey blinked, her pulse quickening. “What part?” she asked, the question trembling in the air.
Mira didn’t answer, not with words. Her hand drifted toward Rumi, fingertips brushing over the singer’s arm, her collarbone, tracing lazy lines that made Rumi’s breath hitch.
Zoey’s mouth went dry. The room felt warmer now, the air too thick to breathe.
Rumi closed her eyes, a playful smile ghosting across her lips. There was something in the way she leaned back, trusting, expectant, that made Zoey’s chest tighten. She wasn’t sure she could leave if they kept going.
“You were so good in the crowd,” Mira murmured, her eyes finding Zoey’s, holding them. “You gave us so much energy.” Her hand kept moving, deliberate. “Would you like to watch another performance?”
or: after being dragged to a concert for a band she’s never heard of, Zoey ends up alone when her friend bails and stumbles into the most life-changing night of her life.
