Identical twins Damian and Danny are separated after their birth. Years later, they discover each other at a summer camp and decide to switch places in an effort to learn about their lost families. Giving them a chance to meet the people they missed. If the scheme goes to plan they might just make their family whole again.
Just the Parent trap with Danny and Damian without the getting your parents back together part. Yes I did remove the romantic subplot from a romantically focused story and made it work because I'm stubborn like that. Yes I did steal this synopsis directly off the movie.

Summary
The Shire - unlike any kingdom in Middle earth - didn’t have a King, instead they have a Baggins.
This is a story of Bilbo Baggins, the 31st Baggins of the Shire who got swept away into an adventure with a company of dwarves because of the meddling of a wizard. Unfotunately said wizard didn't see it fit to inform the company that Bilbo was basically the king of the Shire. They didn't even know that the Shire had a leader!

Summary
The thing Gandalf neglected to mention when he assured Thorin Oakenshield and Company that Bilbo Baggins of Bag End would be the perfect thief for their mission was this:
A Hobbit wouldn't be able to tell a diamond from a pearl, or from an Arkenstone - no matter how hard they try.
This leads to some confusion, on Bilbos part. And some frustration, again on Bilbos part.
(What sort of a description was 'heart of the mountain', anyway? A useless one, that's what.)

But after he catches sight of a comet in the middle of the day, he also has a voiceless naked man in a crater, who needs clothes, teaching about the world, and to put the damn baby blues away.
