    “That’s good,” Bruce says, evenly. “Congratulations.”
    Tim swallows. That’s… something. Praise is praise, right? But it feels hollow like a weight in his stomach.
    “It’s on Saturday. From four to seven. If—if you’re not busy, I thought maybe...”
    His voice trails off under Bruce’s silence.

    Or, Tim has an upcoming school photography exhibit where his photos will be displayed. With his parents out of the country and Dick somewhere in Bludhaven, he hopes Bruce will be there. But after Jason’s death, Bruce is a broken man, too caught up in his own world to show up. Luckily, an impeccable butler always knows how to come in clutch.
