Summary
This story is a WW2 story set as England heads into 1941 and another year of war. This is the sequel to my story Concealed Affections. I would advise reading that first especially as I did create some new charaters that are not in the books or show and you might be a bit confused.
Colin and Penelope have found each other, but they are about to find out that it is not easy to be in love in the middle of a war. Especially when Colin's job is so precarious. Anthony met Kate at the end of the last story and this time we follow their up and down relationship. Has Anthony finally found someone to share the burden's of life with? And if he has will he ever admit it?
Eloise's intuition leads to a difficult situation that Theo, her brother a Hugh have to decide how to deal with.
But what happen's when it becomes apparent that the girls are prepared to put themselves in danger in order to help the war effort?Series

Summary

Colin stopped short when he re-entered the bedroom at the sight of his wife sitting at the edge of the bed, her legs crossed in front of her.
“God, you’re so fucking hot.”
When he reached her, he dropped down to his knees and leaned forward to kiss her. She spread her thighs to accommodate him, sliding her hands behind his neck and pulling him closer.
“What do you want?” he asked, his voice gravelly.

Penelope Featherington is sick as a dog and trying to power through and be miserable on her own. Colin shows up unexpectedly, insisting on taking care of her, with just one small problem. They just had a horrible fight and aren't speaking.

“You shouldn’t be here,” she mumbles, suddenly feeling more moody and irritated by his presence. “You’ll get sick too.”
He ignores her and a moment later, she hears the sound of running water from a different part of her flat. She’s still confused.
When he returns, she stands up and crosses her arms, trying to seem steadier. She’s not.
“What are you doing here?”
“You’re sick, Pen. I came to take care of you.”
“I don’t need you to—”
“Please,” he begs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Please just… I started the shower for you. Let me finish up in here.”
