Summary
Seungcheol comes back to Jeonghan every December and rewires his brain on a more than chemical level. Plugs him back to life, rearranges his worldview, reassembles his tired soul.
He also leaves him every year, unknowingly stealing a bigger piece of Jeonghan's heart each time, forgetting to pick up the fragments of his own presence from their tarnished hometown.

The question had landed light, meant to be funny. Na PD's signature style—poke the bear, watch the reaction, milk the awkwardness for content. Seungcheol remembered freezing, mouth half-open, the word "LEA-DER" flashing mockingly on the screen behind him as the members erupted in exaggerated gasps and teasing.
He'd stammered something back then—something about guiding, about being the bridge, about making sure everyone said "Seventeen right here!" in sync. The members had jumped in immediately, protective and loud: Woozi muttering "He does a lot," Seungkwan yelling "He's our dad!", DK adding "He takes care of us!" It turned into a comedy bit, everyone piling on compliments until Na PD laughed and moved on.
But the cameras cut away, and the question didn't.
