Beware: Maegor with teats has begotten Aerion the Monstrous.
Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Fate (or the gods, or some bored Valyrian demon with a taste for jokes) spits him back into the world generations earlier, reborn as the twin brother of Prince Jacerys Velaryon, son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
He isn’t a dragon. Tragic.
Still Aerion decides to do what he does best:
Cause problems on purpose.

Summary
Dunk is a beta and he doesn’t think much about it, until the day he arrives at Ashford and meets a pretty Prince, whose irresistible scent will not leave his mind.
Dunk can’t stay away from the omega no matter how hard he tries, and, it feels even worse, that the Prince keeps seeking him out, his touch and pretty eyes begging for the relief only Dunk can bring.
That is until Dunk feels a boiling need in his body, that makes him question his entire self, and, lose his mind whenever he feels the warmth of an omega pressing against his body, begging for more, more, more.
Or, how beta Duncan becomes an alpha by simply smelling Aerion’s scent

Summary
Ten years after being exiled to Essos, Aerion Targaryen is summoned back to Westeros by King Baelor. Unfortunately for everyone involved, he returns older, sharper, politically useful, and accompanied by a mysterious companion from across the Narrow Sea.
Egg is back at court. Dunk is given the thankless task of keeping an eye on Aerion. The Red Keep receives his return with all the warmth and grace of a kicked hornet’s nest.
Dunk remembers Aerion as beautiful, cruel, and deeply alarming. What he gets instead is a prince who speaks in foreign tongues, makes himself useful in deeply irritating ways, and may or may not have actually changed, which is frankly worse.
Major rewrite to the opening chapters. If you read this a while ago, it’s worth giving it another look!
