Summary
Ranboo... well, Ranboo regrets getting on that stupid plane in the first place. Stupid plane with it's stupid inability to function as a plane and stay in the air.
He glares up at a falling snowflake as it lands on the tip of his nose near-perfectly, laying exactly where he'd fallen when he'd jumped from the crash site, in the middle of a canyon, in snow that is at least a foot deep.
And then he realizes that he is stranded, alone, in the middle of an island off the coast of Canada, and 'Oh, yeah, if I keep laying in the snow I'm going to freeze to death, because I am barely dressed for this weather at all.'
So, without further ado, Ranboo gets up, dusting snow off of his person, tugs on his metaphorical bootstraps (sneaker laces), and tries to figure out how the hell he's going to manage to climb up a cliff wall that is at least five meters tall.
He used the bootstraps metaphor for a reason.

“Run.” A voice, silken as shadows, whispered in his ear, as she so often did when an opening came. He had ignored her beckoning so many times, fearful of the punishment he’d receive should he fail, but punishment would be coming if he didn’t move his damned legs. So for once, Ranboo obeyed her call, and he ran.

(Alternatively: Ranboo has been locked away for all of his life, a body with nothing to say. Now, given the chance of freedom he decides to break away from the faceless life he was damned to. However, freedom isn’t all he bargained for as he’s thrown into a game of kings he never asked to be a part of.)

Summary
Tommy’s a lost cause as many would say when he comes to love. Can’t exactly get it right. I mean, he did get it right once but then he left her over summer break and somehow expected the girl to still like him. But of course that didn’t happen. So now here he is, still horrible when is comes to romance.
He tells this to Ranboo who proposes they should practice. That Tommy should get these skills in before he tries to go back out and get a girlfriend. Ranboo does this despite knowing that this will come back a around and bite him in the butt.
This isn’t some, “oh yeah we’re casually making out now story” no, this is a “oh yeah we’re casually a couple now” OF BROS of course. Ah ha nothing gay going on here.
Only problem, Ranboo is definitely gay, and I think we can all guess who he’s gay for.
