Bay Rose, a 28 year old survivor with a special kind of talent, finds safety in Jackson years after the outbreak. After a complicated history with the Fireflies and a group of hunters, she wonders if she can still find some kind of happiness in a post-apocalyptic world.
Enter Joel and Ellie, a non-father/daughter duo who arrive in Jackson a year after Bay. Unknowingly, they shake Bay’s life up in the most chaotic way possible.
These days, everyone has secrets. So what will happen when Joel discovers what Bay is hiding and when Bay learns the truth about Ellie’s scar?
This isn’t the best summary, but I have a lot planned and I want to keep some things a surprise! Now, technically the female character is named “Bay”, but it’s a nickname. Her appearance will be left to interpretation so you can still insert yourself as the reader! It’s just easier for me to write if she has a name. And I’ve made up a fun little backstory for it.
