Summary
Lucien Magne was many things, billionaire, inventor and charitable to name a few. But the biggest things he was, were bored and lonely.
His riches didn’t get him much in the way of real companionship. All his friends were money hungry, the flings he found pleasure in wanted compensation in the way of gifts. Lucien would love it if humanity could prove him wrong for once, but alas, their greed always won out over any sense of pride.
Pity, he respected someone with a bit of pride rather than their greed.
In his boredom and loneliness, he found himself drawn to the occult. His enjoyment in the dark arts only grew as he acquired more tomes on dark practices and old relics that were said to bring about demonic power.
