Summary
Lando remembered the first time he had cut himself. It was an accident. He was 16. He was cutting up an apple and the knife cut his finger. It felt good so he took it to his wrist, creating a small cut and watching the blood bubble to the surface. As it trickled down his arm, he realised what he had done. He rushed to get it cleared up. He covered his wrist with watches, bracelets and wristbands from then on. No one could see his weakness. No one could see what he did, late at night when no one was around to judge.
Now he was 26. Ten years on and he was better at controlling the urges. Usually. No one knew about his past and no one needed to. Because it was in the past. Right?

Summary
It really was too much for ‘little Lando Norris.’ Every step he took had a weight to it. A weight he couldn’t bear. The weight of a DNF. At Silverstone. His home. The one place he wanted to succeed.
When Lando DNFs at Silverstone, he falls back into old coping mechanisms. Scared of what could happen this time, Oscar tries everything to get Lando feeling happy again.
