“I thought we held a similar disdain for politicians,” Miles hums in lieu of a greeting, settling a few paces across from Phoenix. The attorney looks up and blinks, a brief flicker of emotion passing across his face before it’s smoothed over. Miles frowns at the sight. Phoenix has always been outspoken and unafraid to show emotion. Yet now, he’s acting almost distant.
“People change,” Phoenix responds.
Miles can concede that point. People do change, yes. But Phoenix Wright doesn’t.
Phoenix is acting uncharacteristically. Miles decides to get to the bottom of it.
