“I know what’s going on with you,” Eddie’s voice is practied, that same soothing drawl he uses with patients. Buck isn’t a patient; he’s his best friend, damnit! Buck sobs and grabs hold of Eddie’s shirt to shake the brunet weakly, but through the pain searing through his body, he can’t muster the strength to.
“Jus’- tell me! Am I dying?!” Buck sobs, unable to get a hold of his emotions. He feels all over the place, but the one constant is pain.
“Well,” Eddie starts, stops, and then forces the words out of his mouth at Buck’s harsher glare. “You’re pregnant, and currently in labor, Buck. That pain? Those are contractions, and that puddle is from your water breaking.” Oh, so Buck wasn’t prepared. Because… what?!

“If you want,” Eddie adds, shrugging—all casual like he’s not suggesting getting on a kink app for Buck and bearing the responsibility of being in charge of someone like that. “I mean, like you said, it’s an accountability thing, right? That’s what you want?”
Or, Eddie accidentally finds the Obedience App downloaded on Buck’s phone. He offers to help keep Buck accountable, only, they end up unintentionally stumbling into a 24/7 TPE relationship without even realizing it.

Summary
The thing is, now that he’s accepted being romantically inclined towards Buck, he’s pretty sure he sees Buck’s reciprocated feelings everywhere. It feels more like a matter of when rather than if. Like Buck’s a sure thing.
On the evening of Buck’s speed dating event, he comes out of their bedroom asking for help picking between two jackets, and Eddie simply says, “you don’t need to go to that.”
“Huh?” Buck’s eyebrows shoot up, framed by that blushed red birthmark.
Eddie shrugs, leaning back on the couch and kicking his feet up. “Go waste time if you want, but you really don’t need to.”

Eddie is possessive of Buck, but he doesn't get jealous. Why would he? Buck's always been his.

Summary
“You’re doin’ good, Buck. All good here, so good.” Eddie's words are soft, his voice hushed and gentle. He's subconsciously trying not to spook Buck, to scare him away.
“Yeah?” Buck mutters, the words sounding incredible to him. “Yeah, good.” He twists, uncurling just a tad so that Eddie's face is free and his own is back against Eddie's neck, closer this time. He can feel the hot air and the twitch of Buck's lips when he exhales against his collarbone, and he genuinely believes he's going insane.Eddie has to take a deep, steady breath to balance himself. He runs over all of his options in his head, but at this point, he's so exhausted, both physically and mentally, that he can't find it in himself to give a shit anymore.

Buck comes over to comfort Eddie after a rough shift. This is NOT how you comfort someone.
