[An image of this year’s NHL East All-Star team, including Ilya Rozanov, Shane Hollander, Wyatt Hayes, Troy Barrett, Carter Vaughn, and Scott Hunter, all smiling after winning this year’s NHL All-Star Game in Las Vegas]

@NHLInsider There’s rumor going around that Page Six has evidence from last weekend’s All-Star Game that two NHL players are romantically linked. Checking my sources to see what I can find out. Will update later. This could have huge implications if true.

    @ssmith20 wut?

@rozanoff no way fuck boy rozanov is involved in this. my money’s on barrett and hollander.

@luverofhockey holy shit. if this is true, it’s going to be insane

@hattrickzzzz @luverofhockey would it really be all that surprising? Hockey is one of the most homoerotic sports in existence. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they had whole team orgies after every game.

@shanehollanderswife there’s no way that reddit post about Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov being a couple is correct, right? ….right?

    "Liar."

The word comes out as a low, broken hiss. Jack's face is draining of color by the second, his fingers pressed so firmly against the wall that he's surprised it's not crumbling from the pressure, but he lifts his chin defiantly. "You're…you're lying. No truce. Liar. There's nothin' in it for you, and you want us caught, so—no." He bares his teeth. "Not givin' them up. Gonna have to—to drag me out."

"I'm not lying, kid, I'm on your side—"

"You—you chased me down here." Jack's eyes narrow, sharp beneath the haze of agony. "Not on my side. I'm not giving you anything."

    ...

Dylan's perfect plan goes a little bit haywire when the fall down the garbage chute ends with Jack being too injured to walk. He pivots, of course, because he always does—but the Horsemen think their youngest member is dead, and Jack thinks that it's his fault that everything went wrong, and Dylan just hopes someone will listen to him long enough to make sense of this.

They're the Horsemen, though. They'll make it out of this just fine.

“Battery. Battery, uh—holding-thingy. Wiring was bad. Container blew up when I took the battery out. S’not the battery. No electric–electro—shut-down-everything bomb. Battery’s okay.” There’s another rustle, the sound of pockets being patted, and a sigh of relief. “Kinda smushed, but okay.”

“Are you okay?” Christ, did he think he meant the damage to the battery? He’s got contingencies if they aren’t able to take it, plans to make sure it ends up out of Advantage’s hands even if all they end up with are blueprints and schematics. The con is plenty salvageable without the battery he sent him to steal. The team sure as hell won’t be if Jack dies from a brain bleed or a bomb.

    “M’fine. Blew up.”

“He has a concussion,” Daniel says flatly, and Dylan sighs, scrubbing a hand across his face. He’s starting to put that together himself.

“Do not,” Jack says, perfectly indignant. “The—it blew up. And it pushed me. Into the wall.”

    ...

Jack gets a concussion when a heist goes wrong. Dylan thinks he's getting a headache, too. Everyone else is just along for the ride.

    Summary

Henley knows something's wrong the second that the Mission Impossible score starts singing through her phone.

    ...

An unknown hypnotist erases Jack Wilder from the minds of the other Horsemen, determined to cut them off at the knees by removing their most versatile member and strike a blow to both their public image and their trust in each other by ensuring they wouldn't believe him at all. Unfortunately for them, they forgot that one Horseman (retired, sure, but you don't steal 3.2 million euros from a Parisian bank just to lose the title forever) isn't in London at all--and Henley Reeves has no intention of letting Jack fall to the wayside.

    Summary

    "Why did you quit?"

Jack glances toward him after a long moment, deep, dark brown eyes gilded amber in the fading evening light. "Quit what?" he says. There's no real confusion in his voice, only a quiet sort of expectation. He knows what Charlie's asking. He just wants him to say it without dancing around the subject. Fair enough, he guesses, even if it feels kind of rude to spring that on him.

He'll give him an out. "Nothing," he answers, and he pastes on his most rueful, dude-I-idolize-you-and-I'm-not-a-threat grin. "Sorry. I'm just the messenger. We're trying to figure out dinner, and I—"

Jack's eyebrows flick up, skepticism written into every line of his face, and Charlie blows out a sharp breath. "Not buying it, huh?"

    "Not particularly."

    ...

Charlie can't figure out why Jack, of all people, was the first to walk away from the Horsemen. Turns out there's more to the story than anyone knows.
