“… I admit, I.. May be interested.”
She immediately regrets the words out of her mouth, regrets allowing herself to become this soft and indulgent.
Bernadetta blinks a bit, blushing.
Oh dear. Perhaps Hubert has disgusted her. She imagines the concept is amusing to her, that a feminine Hubert was outlandish and ridiculous. This was going to be her wakeup call.
“That’s g-great. Um, ‘cause, Bernie already got started.”
Hubert gawks.

Summary
The Double Lunch was the name of the fictional venue where a double billing of bands played in every episode of The Pink Opaque. It was also the name of a popular online community for fans of the show during the years it was on the air. Through interviews with former posters and an exploration of its archives, this work attempt to re-create a history of the show and the fandom that surrounded it.
Included here are select excerpts.

She breathed in, nerves getting the best of her. She knew that she was ready to move on to the next stage of their lives together, but was Ferdinand? The question gnawed at her as she stood, being looked down upon by the statue of a saint. Should a sinful woman such as herself – one who helped Her Majesty bear fangs at God – be bound for life to a virtuous, honorable man such as Ferdinand von Aegir? He might be bloodstained, but he was a fundamentally decent and just person. She could not say the same for herself. Her hands had been bloodied since childhood in service of the Imperial Princess and now Emperor.
Helene decided to ask Ferdinand's hand in marriage, but is afraid she is not worthy of him.

Homophony in Oriental Silver-Work and Applications for Non-Logographic Scripts: A Case Study in English, Using Kreyòl, French, Gaelige, and Scots Gaelic by 用玉绍缭之 (mercuryandglass) for Poetry

Summary
Abstract:
Based on the techniques described by Dejima (1836, 1845, and 1848) regarding collaborative manifestation using homophonous links (homophony chains) occasionally seen in the Oriental tradition of silver-work, this paper describes the adaptation and combination of two existing match-pairs, one from Haitian Creole (Kreyòl) to English through French (Desgraves 1846), and one from Scottish Gaelic (Scots Gaelic) to Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge) (O’Nell 1839 and 1843), in order to demonstrate the efficacy of the Oriental technique for homophony chains when used with languages that do not make use of logographies, such as English. -

Joining Edelgard and becoming part of the Black Eagle Strike Force was probably the hardest thing Ashe had ever done. He’d lost his faith and all trust in the Church, and turned his back on Faerghus. No, he’d turned his blade on Faerghus. Even now there was still a tiny part of him, the part that sat starry-eyed at tales of knights and chivalry and wanted so badly to be just like the gallant knights in the stories, that twisted in guilt. But even that part of him that Hubert would say was indoctrinated was tiny, and saw for itself in the mud of Tailtean and the flames of Fhirdiad where blind obedience and anger wound up. And the truth of it…the truth of it was that Ashe didn’t want to die for a kingdom that only cared about how gloriously you died. He wanted to live, and help build a better Fodlan.
So, despite everything he’d sacrificed, everything that had happened, Ashe had no regrets.
No, not quite. He had one.
Or: While helping rebuild Duscur, Ashe finds a ghost that has silently haunted him for years.
