“Light— wait," L choked out, "wait.”
“Want to grind against you,” Light said, his eyelashes fluttering and his hands gripping and his lips pouting. L felt his face heat redder than ever, felt the way his body reacted to those words, but his mind was starting to come back online and he pulled his hand back from where it tangled in Light’s hair.
He exhaled slowly, looking away for a moment to avoid the temptation of Light’s face. Even if he wasn’t Kira (improbable), he certainly had some godlike qualities— primarily, his pretty face and silver tongue. “You’re too drunk. It’s not right.”
“I want to kiss you,” Light countered, enunciating his words extra carefully in an attempt to seem less drunk. It wasn’t working. One of his thumbs moved to brush over L’s lips, pressing against them for a second, then pulled his bottom lip down to reveal teeth and gums. “I think kiss. I think we should kiss. What about that?”
Silver tongue indeed.
