“I’m aware,” Aemond said. “Princess Rhaena is intelligent, I’ve been told, I thought she’d see there was more to this season than infatuation.”

Aemond is panting while he’s desperately gripping the stone. It is cold and hard and uncomfortable and he’s worried that he might slip and fall onto the hard surface. He could seriously injure himself. Break some bones even. But that would be fitting for the man standing behind him.
On another thrust Aemond moans and slips a little, his face almost crashing into the wall. There is a chuckle behind him, deep and malicious.
