Summary
A burning ache inside the flesh of his leg, the cold sweat holding and decaying at the sensation of his skin, he shuffles around right and left, trying his hardest not to grow the wound even further, the snow below his feet's numbs it making it near impossible to move without twitching, and it's been like that for... god knows how long.
It's lonely.

They were so close.
So painfully, unbearably close to living a normal life. Close to avoiding fights, chaos, disasters. Close to never having to look over their shoulders again. So close it almost hurt more than being far away ever did.

Dragons have existed for thousands of years. They have worked both alongside and against humans. To this day, dragons fight side-by-side with humans who call themselves dragon riders.
Flame has been against dragon riding since he was younger. He doesn't need to partner himself with another creature to make himself seem more powerful.
Little does he know that dragon riding will become a crucial part of his life, no matter how much he claims to detest his draconic friend.

Summary
When Spoke opens the wormhole he clearly hadnt anticipated for it to go this wrong. Instead of inviting in the new players as he'd intended, it causes the server to colapse and shove them through the first best opening it can find.
That opening just so happens to be the rift currently growing on hermitcraft, despite the servers protections.

Summary
All of Spoke's frantic energy came to a screeching halt. The words died on his tongue. His hands stopped their constant movement.
"Oh," he said quietly.
Mapicc's ears twitched at his voice, but he didn't look up. If anything, he curled tighter into himself, that whining sound getting quieter like he was trying to hide it. Trying to be small. Trying to disappear.
Spoke stood frozen in the doorway for a long moment, his mind suddenly racing in an entirely different direction. He'd been ready for chaos, for laughter, for causing problems on purpose. The void was still thrumming through him, eager and restless, begging him to move, to run, to flicker.
But Mapicc was crying.
