The woman ripped her hand away from her face and turned her back to her. “The army has lied to you, Tally, the general herself has lied to you, you have been used and betrayed, yet you remain loyal. It would be so easy for you to make all of this end,”
“If I talked...the general...would do worse to me...than you ever could... Tally sputtered against the pain.
The woman turned again. “Sarah Alder can’t hurt you here, child, but we can, and we will if you don’t start talking,”

Summary
Canon divergent. Mostly canon compliant through 2x9 except that season 1 and 2 happen over the course of a couple of years.
After failing to remove Alder from power, Tally has been keeping her head down and trudging through her second year at War College. The Camarilla threat is growing every day, and her unit is being groomed for intelligence. When an attack on base makes the mycelium feel threatened, Alder and Tally are thrown into a situation no one expected. Now, they must learn to work together, the last line of defense for an Army that is falling apart. Old rivalries are laid to rest as the witch plague becomes a threat bigger than any other, one that will take everything to defeat.

Summary
Started writing this October 15, 2024 so it's a little bit cannon, a little bit shouting into the void. Contains rumination, gaps filled between scenes of what might have occurred, moments that were perhaps missed or glossed over in the show.
Slow-burn, follows the path of the show, just with added moments before and after events we've been lucky to have so far!
