Zelda didn’t think, didn’t hesitate; she just leapt for Link, reaching desperately for his hand as her own began to glow. She’d protected herself and the Brigade from a cataclysmic fall like this once, she could do it again, weakened powers be damned. She needed to save Link. No matter what, she needed to save him. They were getting out of here together, damn it all.
There was a burst of gold in Link’s pocket (the teardrop!) and it spread outwards in waves of glitter. The gold encased his entire body, the Triforce of Courage blazed with all the power of the sun, their fingers brushed and then, in one last blast of light-
“Link!” Zelda screamed again, more desperately than ever as he vanished before her eyes.

Summary
Naofumi and his family return to their world... and get thrust back into the action.
Much has changed in their absence. They have changed a lot since going to the Otherworld. But the changes will be welcome, and in many cases, rewarding, especially as Naofumi prepares to propose to his wife friend, Raphtalia.
As for the other Heroes... Motoyasu continues to go above and beyond his original fate. Helping out where he's needed while bonding with his new friends... and possibly girlfriend.
Ren gets his much-needed break from the town with Naofumi's return. His friends and loyal girlfriend continuing their best efforts to help his mental and emotional health.
And Itsuki... his path remains unclear. Cut off from all his former friends and family, all we can hope is that his journey of self-reflection returns him home, and doesn't leave him worse off than before.
For once, there isn't too much excitement in the lives of the Heroes. Which will hopefully mean that the four months they have to prepare for the Phoenix won't be interrupted by anything serious...

Summary
The year is 2023. Five years have passed since Itsuki Aoi and the Fortuna All-Stars defeated Medeus. Everything seems to be progressing as it should; with Itsuki at the helm of Fortuna Entertainment, the company has entered a new golden age. Songs top the charts overnight, movies and TV shows have accrued record-breaking ratings, tours sell out within days of opening.
As it happens, though, all good things must come to an end, and the suffocating roots of denial can only keep one afloat for so long.
A mysterious Mirage contacts Itsuki in a desperate plea to stop a new threat. Despite not quite having recovered physically or mentally from the aftermath of Medeus' attacks, Itsuki accepts. Now, he must gather his friends at Fortuna and far beyond, risking his life to save not only his world, but all others. Along the way he and his friends will be forced to face the music and examine their own demons spawned by Medeus and even before. The odds seem stacked against him, and the chance of victory seems slim... but with help and support along the way, Itsuki thinks he might just be able to make it.
