    Gojo chose north after he died to the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna after the most fierce fight in Jujutsu History. He chose to start a new life, and a new beginning. He gets reincarnated into another timeline where he finds himself to be an ordinary human with no such special powers. He still retained his basic fighting skills, but that's basically it.

    He looks the exact same and is around the age of 17, about the age when he fought Toji.

    When he first got sent into this world, he found himself in the middle of the street, he wondered around a bit more, and found a cute little girl with purple hair and starry eyes, getting bullied by some street boys. Even though Gojo had just found himself in the existence of an entire new timeline, he decides to step in ad help the little girl.
