No. No, no, no. This wasn’t happening. It had to be a mistake. A misunderstanding. Maybe it was someone they knew—a patrolling dragon, a late flyer, anyone else, but the warning bells inside him wouldn’t stop. His instincts buried deep in his gut, in his chest, in his core, even his omega were all screaming. He scanned the skies around them, heart pounding in his throat. But the sun was dipping fast, and the horizon blurred into shadow. The tree line below was dense, making it almost impossible to see beyond the canopy. Something was wrong. Latte suddenly angled upward, gaining altitude fast—and then Seungmin saw it.
