Summary
Pearl used to tell herself she’d be happy as ever if she saw Rose again. 700 years into the future, Steven’s physical form passes away, and Rose is suddenly back. Many things have changed, and expectations end up not matching reality. At all.
An account of the first seven days after Steven has passed away and Rose has abruptly returned.

Summary
A Rose Survives Au based off some old comics of mine.
Rose creates a new gemstone for Steven so they can both exist (though she tried to make a rose quartz when steven is born it is revealed she created another pink diamond).
The Gems find out, and Rose is chased off Earth back to Homeworld. Pearl follows shortly after.
Follow Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Mocha Pearl (a Pearl who fled to earth after hearing about how the Crystal gems successfully scared off a diamond and took one for their own) as they try and protect Earth from the diamonds and their former leader.

Summary
It has been suggested that White Diamond got her ideas of how she had to be and run things from simply being told so by some Even Higher Power, but personally, I'd find this a little repetitive and not all that interesting, so here is an exploration of the Diamonds' backstory and, by extension, the origins of the gempire.
The other Diamonds come in in the second chapter.
