Summary
When the genius scientist who saved all of humanity and his most powerful warrior got together and had a child, you could say expectations were HIGH. And frankly, at 15, Takumi Ishigami (Ishigami-Shishio technically but don't even go there!) isn't sure he's living up to them. When your parents are beyond exceptional, what space is there to just be yourself? Takumi isn't a genius (at least not a Senku type genius) and he isn't the strongest primate junior (unfortunately because that would be COOL!) but that isn't going to stop him living his life ten billion percent to the fullest!
And that's a whole lot easier with good friends at your side! Whether its the cool and reserved Helia, warm and fun-loving Cobalt, sweet and secretive Ayame, stoic and cunning Reiku, or steadfast and earnest Dekel, it falls on the kids to navigate the new world order their parents created.
And if, along the way, there are more shenanigans, family fluff, crushes, drama, and frankly people should have known better than to let Senku's son loose with gunpowder... Well, that's high school.
