    A long time ago, in a damp, abandoned basement, Nanny Ashtoreth held a slightly battered Warlock Dowling in her arms and made him make a promise.

     

    “Az… Aziraphale?”

    “Mhm. And the other one?”

    “Crowley."

    She made him promise to remember those names. That if he was ever scared, or hurt, or in danger, he would pray to them to come and help.

    Three years after armegeddon't, Crowley and Aziraphale have left Warlock to have a normal life. But being the son of a diplomat puts a target on his back, and that hasn't changed just because Nanny and Brother Francis aren't around anymore.

     
    In other words, I read a really amazing Warlock-gets-kidnapped fic and had to write it from Crowley's point of view.
