“What? No, not Tim. It’s Jaylad.”
Dick froze for a second time. “What?” He choked out, turning to look at the phone slowly, as if the screen would have all the answers. Or disappear right in front of his eyes. Or maybe some dimensional nymph would pop out and start laughing at him- it wouldn’t be the first time.
“He’s here! He says you still owe him a backflip lesson.” There was so much happiness and relief in Bruce’s voice that Dick nearly choked on it.
Because Jason Todd was dead.

Summary
There was only one thing Scarecrow wanted to inflict. Fear.
In his head, Dick was grateful he was the one in the hot seat. He always had a harder time watching his loved ones be in pain than taking the pain himself. That face was one of the leading reasons behind almost everything he does. Furthermore, he and Bruce have been testing his level of resistance to Scarecrow's fear gas, and compared to the others- even Bruce- he was the best option for this. Right?

OR: Scarecrow makes a fear toxin specifically for Nightwing, who seems to be immune to his normal batch. And maybe Dick could handle a newer version of the gas... if there wasn't also a device attached to his head that analyzed his thoughts to make him face his greatest fears...
What's worse is that his family, who have basically shut him out since his return from Spyral- from the dead- is there to witness his fall.

Summary
Dick Grayson is sure he is going crazy. Sure, everyone grieves in their own way, but he is pretty sure randomly seeing your dead best friend is not proof of his sanity. That and not to mention the awful ringing in his ears that usually accompanied these sightings.
Dick has decided that he doesn't need to bother any of his grieving friends about this unless it becomes a bigger problem, especially Artemis. So, Dick does what he always does: he puts on a smile and tries to seem as okay as possible.
The problem is that the episodes are only getting worse, and it has started affecting his ability to handle everyday life.

“Merlin?” he said, instantly angry. He shoved himself into a sitting position, fumbling for the candle on the table by the bed, and blustered, “What on earth are you doing? It’s the middle of the night! I don’t know about you, but that’s when I sleep. Don’t you--”
Finally managing to get the candle lit, he looked up at Merlin, fully prepared to continue his lecture. But the words died in his throat at the sight of the young servant, and he choked in the rush of panic that assaulted him. “Merlin!”

Summary
Arthur smiled very faintly. He gave no reply, a testament even beyond his appearance to how weary he was. His eyes were bloodshot and lined by heavy bags, the lids sagging. He still wore armor, dented and grimy, and his chainmail was ripped. Over his right knee, his breeches were torn, and beyond the hanging cloth, Merlin could catch a glimpse of a crusty gash.
“Come on,” he said, moving the last step or so to grab Arthur by his shoulder and steer him toward the changing screen. “A bath and some food will do you some good.”
i.e. Soft hurt/comfort after a nasty battle.

Summary

Mother Nature has a way of smoothing things over, even when in the dead of winter.

Summary
Merlin can’t remember the last time he’s locked his bedroom door, if ever. But he chooses not to think about it. He merely sulks his way back to his bed, taking a moment to contemplate taking off his trousers and tunic from the night before. He decides not to think about that either.
Instead, he decides not to think at all. He just falls back into his bed, covers up his body more so in shame than for warmth, and closes his eyes.
Basically Merlin is sexually assaulted and this story follows how he and everyone else deals with it.
Spoiler alert: THEY DON'T HANDLE IT WELL.
