This is a fic I outlined and started writing during season 7 that canon screwed me over with. But now here I am, being bullied (in the best way) by my friends to start posting so I will finish it.
This is set about 2 months into Buck and Tommys relationship and concentrates on Tommy, his past and the future that him and Buck should have had.

Summary
Clint focuses himself. He has to face the harsh reality: that he’d wanted to be wrong about Bucky, the Winter Soldier. Somewhere along the way, he’d stopped thinking of him as the dangerous assassin and started thinking of him as just Bucky. But they weren’t two different people, and that means that Clint has to forget he ever met Bucky.
He loses himself in his thoughts just a second too long, because his heart leaps into his throat when he hears the front door close.
Shit! He glances about, making sure everything’s in order and then opens the door leading to the balcony as quietly as possible, flinging himself over the railing. Shaken by his discovery, he missteps, but he can already feel himself tumbling over the edge. It just so happens that during the fall he’d accidentally kicked the railing and his shoe gets caught in the balcony somehow.
Aw, balcony, no!
