He doesn’t know where he is, but he knows he feels himself breathing, his stomach goes up and down as he tries to carefully feel it against him. The last time he felt himself breathing was when it was as quick as it could be, when he had the knowledge that he was dying. Slowly, but surely, dying. If not by the poison, it was the hydraulic press. If not by the hydraulic press, it was the poison. Blood was coating Momota’s jacket then, as he laid on it, his injuries from just a couple of minutes before weren’t done leaking yet. He knew that the people who walked in that door would think “Momota Kaito is dead. Ouma Kokichi killed him.”
He remembered snorting then when that thought came, and he remembered that he thought, “They could never be more wrong. But let them think that.”

Summary
Flowers. Ever since he could remember, flowers have always been a symbol of humanity. Just one flower is able to portray even the most complex human emotions; some represent joy, and some represent grief. Some represent life, and some represent death. For example, white clovers symbolized promise, while Bells of Ireland are good luck. How such intangible concepts could be conceptualized by nothing but a flower was something he couldn't comprehend. It was incredible, really, how flowers were an entire language of their own. There were so many kinds, yet they were all fragile nonetheless; no matter where they grew, their size, or even how old, one can be killed and crushed in the blink of an eye. Everything about it felt so ironic, so comical.
Oma Kokichi has been ridden with Hanahaki. He'd rather die than admit his faults.
