Louis de Pointe du Lac enjoyed running his flower shop even if it wasn't where he'd pictured himself being. He had a healthy income and an expensive reputation for some of the best bouquets in New Orleans. And then a tattoo shop moved in across the street with tacky vampires drawn in the windows and a loud, decidedly un-classy clientele. He'd dedicate himself to hating it if the blonde tattooist who worked there wasn't so damn hot.

Life in hell was better than Vox used to picture it as a child. He was rich, famous, and had a boyfriend and no one could give him shit about it. Sure, his boyfriend was pushy, and rude, and violent- but this was hell. His father used to tell him he'd burn and suffer down here for eternity, and while it wasn't quite burning he did feel like his suffering had taken the form of a sweet-tongued demon who was his everything and a grinning deer who he wished could be.

Alastor's relationship with feelings had always been somewhat turbulent. He was capable of love- he knew that much from his fond memories of his mother's smiling face- though it was certainly rare. Maybe he had been close to it, but that annoyingly disgusting moth had managed to snatch away any semblance of the man he had begun to grow fond of many years ago. He'd shut himself off more, since then, and given in to his more sadistic desires on a more regular schedule. Though, the princess's doomed-to-fail endeavour had somehow managed to awaken a less used but much stronger emotion within him.

Angel knew three things for certain- he loved Husk, he was trying to be better, and he hated the Vees.

“No, you’re not doing that,” Nami said, slapping him lightly on the face, “No fugue state Zoro today. We’re going to write a love letter for you to deliver to him since you’re horrible with words. What are some things you like about Sanji?”

Sanji hums, drops his head onto Zoro's shoulder, and feels his own pain, feels Zoro's intake of breath. Sits there, kinda sleepy now, Usopp making snuffling noises horizonal on the other side of the table, and Zoro very warm under his cheek. Maybe he is too drunk, because his eyes are closing and his breathing is evening out, and the hurt isn't that much, anymore, can barely feel it at all.
“You little shit,” Zoro says eventually.
Sanji grins to himself, says more to Zoro’s neck, “You think?”
