Summary
Life with Blackbeard was simple as it could get when you were a pirate: do you job right or don't, get the shit beat out of you or don't. Izzy had loved how easy it was, just following the orders of his captain and knowing he didn't have to be anything other than First Mate Hands.
But now Edward has them living on the idiot Bonnet's ship where it's all different and no one seems to feel that telling Izzy why he isn't needed the same way he was before important. It's driving him insane, ready to chew his damn hand off just to get a release from the tension brewing inside him.
Unfortunately for Izzy, energy with no where to go will eventually force its way up, and the night Edward catches him trying to sneak off is the final straw for them both.

Jayce shifted a little, drooping more into Viktor’s hands, and as always Viktor responded without hesitation; his fingers glided up to trace along the curve of his brow.
“Kiramman…” When he finally broke the silence, Jayce’s voice came out more ragged and unsteady than he had expected it to, “she – I know it’s a responsibility, the funding, the attention…but the people, sometimes I can’t stand it anymore.”
Or: the weight of expectations and demands are beginning to grow too heavy -- too much for Jayce to bear. Viktor knows just how to pull him out of it and ease the strain.
