Summary

“Hey Achilles?” I asked, my head on his stomach.
He stopped strumming. “Yeah?”
“Can I ask you something? It’s kinda . . .” I trailed off, humph-ing as I couldn’t think of the right word.
“Of course you can.”
I took a deep breath. “Why did you ask me out?”
I felt his muscles in his stomach tighten. “Because I like you?” He said, but it seemed more like he was asking me.
“Why?” was my initial response. I clamped a hand over my mouth at that, surprised at myself.
Achilles made a sound like he’d choked. “Are you actually asking me?”
“I hadn’t meant to but . . . yeah, sort of.” I shrugged. “It’s just . . . you’re so amazing and beautiful and I’m just me: plain.”

Summary
Buck should have known better than to challenge Eddie. He should have known that it wouldn’t end well for him to taunt Eddie like he had. Eddie had shown no mercy and now Buck was paying the price.
He woke up with a groan, a sizzle of pain racing up his spine as he moved. God, his ass fucking throbbed.
“I think you broke me,” Buck mumbled into the pillow his face was smushed into.
Eddie laughed from where he sat beside Buck, scrolling on his phone as he enjoyed the peaceful morning and waited for Buck to wake up. He didn’t look even remotely sorry, a smug grin on his lips.
Or, Buck challenges Eddie and Eddie takes said challenge. It causes their relationship to be revealed in a rather unique way.

Buck stood on the porch, shivering beneath the thin hoodie clinging to his fever-slick skin. He wasn’t sure how long he’d been standing there, just that the familiar shape of Eddie’s front door had started to blur at the edges, his vision swimming from a mix of exhaustion and whatever virus had its claws sunk deep into him.
He had a key. Hell, he practically lived here. His toothbrush was in the bathroom, his favorite hoodie was always tossed somewhere in Chris’ room, and Eddie never stopped reminding him “You don’t knock. You walk in. This is your home too.”
