Summary
Arc 1 (complete): Quinlan finagles a favor out of the Mand'alor, and promptly cashes it in for a clanmate who has gone missing on Bandomeer. The Order dispatches Master Koon to assist, and in the mines Obi-Wan makes friends with Arla Fett.
Arc 2 (complete): Obi-Wan calls the Mandalorians instead of the Order for aid on Melida / Daan. In the Temple, his exit from the Order causes upheaval in the Council and plotting from his closest friends.
Arc 3 (complete): Obi-Wan returns to Temple life after the war, his padawan status up in the air and his trauma too obvious to ignore.

“Do you think I’m broken?” He said abruptly, the words leaving his lips instead of what he meant to say. Healer Lior jolted, but Obi-Wan continued, poisoned words spewing from some deep well inside himself. “I think I shattered, somewhere, and no one noticed. I don’t feel the same. People keep telling me that I just need to give it time, and that it will get better, but it’s been months and I don’t feel any - I feel worse,” he admitted, both to Healer Lior and to himself.
“I feel worse. I feel like I’m pretending and that everyone knows it but are just - ignoring it, for my sake, like if you don’t look at it then it’ll go away and I’m so tired of being looked at and I don’t want people to keep watching me but I think I lost something and I don’t know how to get it back.”
The years in-between the end of Obi-Wan's first war and the start of the next.

Count Dooku meets with Obi-Wan after he hands in his resignation from the Order.
Somehow, Obi-Wan earns a family.
The Council makes different decisions, it changes everything and nothing.
Or;
Everyone gets therapy. Get in bitch, we're going to heal and fix everything.
Also, Dooku comes and adopts the two traumatised grandchildren he accidentally got himself, but oh well, he's not complaining.

Summary
At some point in the New Sith Wars, something changed between the Mando'ade and their Jedi. Something, perhaps a Sith plot, perhaps some other kind of manipulation by those who hated how the two powerful peoples worked together so seamlessly, twisted relations between Mando'ade and Jedi, until the Mandalorians fought against the Jedi instead of beside them.
And that became the new standard, until one fateful event was shifted ever so slightly, and a certain Mand'alor survived long enough to meet a certain Jedi Master.(Or, the one in which Mando'ade are Sentinels and Jedi are Guides, and the galaxy is better off for it in the long run.)
