Summary
The days were bright and the nights were short, and at sixteen years old, Felix hadn’t wanted anything different. At sixteen years old, he’d wanted to stay cuddled under blankets when nobody saw, looking down at Dimitri in the pool with his hair slicked back, collapsed on the grass together in the afternoon sun. At sixteen, Felix thought maybe it could have been that way forever.
But Felix is twenty, now, and things are different.
Dimitri hasn’t changed his number, though, and it’s easy to send a text. There isn’t much in the way of communication; scattered well-wishes on birthdays from Dimitri and the occasional confirmation of plans for Ingrid or Sylvain’s birthdays, but little else.
We’ve been partnered for Byleth’s class.
Library Saturday morning to divide the work. About 10am.
Second floor. I’ll book a study room.
Do the assigned reading in advance.
