Summary
I’ve always liked this trope, so I wanted to write one of my own!
— — —
The mission was supposed to be simple: get in, kick some butt, get out. But when Peter Parker’s comms get smashed (along with his head) and he looses contact with the Avengers, things go downhill fast.
Comm still down, someone in danger, and running out of options, Peter picks up a gun. One perfect shot later, the danger’s over… and the real chaos begins.
Now Peter’s back with the team, facing a far scarier threat than enemy fire: Tony Stark’s disbelief, and Steve’s moral panic. Turns out, Uncle Ben’s lessons went way beyond “with great power comes great responsibility.”

Btw this summary makes it seem longer then it really is

Summary
Peter Parker, aka Spider-man, tried so hard to keep going every day. He worked so hard to not let his pain show, too keep going, but one day… he just snaps.
***
“You think I don’t care?”
The man blinked.
“You think I do this for attention?”
Peter laughed. Bitter. Broken.
“I remember every single one of them, you know.” His voice shook. “Every person I couldn’t save. Every name. Every face.”
He stepped forward.
“Emily Denton. Ten years old. Her parents’ car hit a barrier going seventy. I got there two minutes after it happened. She was still breathing.” His voice cracked. “She was wearing a pink Hello Kitty skirt, a purple jacket. My Little Pony sneakers. I crawled halfway under the car to pull her out and sliced my side open on the wreckage. Gave myself sixteen stitches later with no painkillers, because they don’t freaking work with my metabolism, and a mirror. But it didn’t matter. Because she died before I got her all the way out.”

Summary
“So… I should probably tell you something,” the kid mumbled.
Tony frowned. “You didn’t get bitten by something again, did you? Is this gonna be like… Spider-Teenage-Ninja-Turtle or something?”
“No, no, nothing like that.”
Spider-Man slowly lifted his hand to his mask, fingers fumbling with the half-melted seals. Tony reached to stop him. “Hey, whoa, no pressure—”
But the mask came away with a soft tear, peeling off like a second skin.
And suddenly, everything went still.
The boy who looked up at them wasn’t a college intern. He wasn’t a grad student or a twenty-year-old prodigy.
He was a child.
Bruised cheek, split lip, a smudge of soot over one brow. His hair clung to his forehead with sweat and blood. His eyes- big, brown, and impossibly young- blinked up at Tony.
“Hi,” he said weakly. “I’m Peter. Peter Parker. I’m, uh… fifteen.”

“Hey–” Toby starts, and then doesn’t know how to keep going.
Jim turns around.
“Yeah?” He asks and grabs for his– he thinks it’s a casserole. “What’s up, Tobes?”
For a moment, it feels like there’s an iron grip around his throat.
Or maybe a stone one.
“Did I tell you about how one of those trolls totally had like six eyes?”
Jim smiles at him.
“You did.” He slides the casserole into the oven, and then leans his hip against the counter, something unreadable in his eyes. “We’ve got time, though. Tell me again.”
Toby does.(Toby dies, Belroc lights the world aflame, and for the first time in his life, Jim chooses to be selfish)

Summary
"The runes are wrong."
"What does that mean for us?" Tim hisses over the beginnings of a dozen voices rising in chant.
"Nothing good." Jason states grimly, frantically racking his brain for any way out. Whatever entity is about to come out of this circle is going to be baring a fate worse than death.
Jason would know. He’s been dead.
…Actually speaking of being dead. Jason does know someone from the Ghost Zone with enough sheer audacity to help him fight what very well could be an actual demon.
With a mental ‘fuck it’, Jason begins to chant.
AKA: Jason and Danny became friends in the Ghost Zone. This is about to be everyone’s problem. Batman just wants to know who this illusive teenager is. Because he’s a meta. Obviously. Not for adoption reasons. No siree, not him.

Summary
No one's surprised when Pepper suggests an alternative to the Sokovian accords before the councilman can even propose the idea. It’s Pepper after all. Of course, she waits until the councilman leaves before dropping the real bomb. The public needs to see a deliberate, personal movement. They need to see the lives of the Avengers be affected by the losses they leave.
When Peter Parker gets a call from his social worker, he just knows he's being kicked out of yet another foster home. When he burst into her office to see the Avengers waiting to adopt him, he’s sure that it was their way of inviting Spiderman to join the team. Luckily the Avenger’s like to discuss vigilantes over breakfast. A small tingle of non-spidey-sense-related nerves flutter in his stomach when Tony complains about the lack of cameras in Queens, but it isn’t until the heroes start suggesting possible people or personalities for the man behind the spider mask that he realizes he has no clue what’s going on.Series
