Jason shakes his head. “No, no, no. That’s my job.”Luckily, the stubborn kid accepts that. He wanders to the living room, dropping his backpack on the couch and pulling out a science workbook. Within seconds he’s absorbed again, pencil tapping lightly as he scribbles something far beyond his grade level.
Jason watches him, standing there, leaning in the hallway, breathing through the throb of adrenaline still grinding in his veins.He doesn’t know who touched the doorknob.
He doesn’t know whether it was connected to the school lockdown.
That’s two things too many that he doesn’t know.

And Jason...what is wrong with Jason!! Damian is wondering if his brother has been bewitched by that Omega!

okay I know that from the start that this would be a slow burn, I just wasn't expecting for this arc to end before the sighs of smoke could begin to light a fire.
Having said that! I really enjoyed this and pretty much binged this fic in a day! XD
