A breathy noise coaxed from parting lips as his eyes fall open – Revealing sunlight in eyes glowing with the power of the celestial body now: color intense, as if Mydei was walking in the warm embrace of the day, causing the Vampire to freeze for a moment. Khaslana truly was Kephale’s chosen, Khaos reincarnated by the things he remembers from his life as a mortal when he read about Titans and heard the whispers of the Worldbearers golden touch. As Vampire watches, silvery-white begins to softly change, embraced by the color of spun gold slowly, mesmerizing Mydei who marveled at the contrast of the almost innocent appearance and the bruises blooming on the Deliverer’s trachea.
(Reincarnation AU, Immortal Mydei - the first Vampire to conquer the Sun & reborn Khaslana/Phainon Nephalem and Hunter - chosen by the Sky-Father, Worldbearer Kephale to carry the golden Light once again for all of humanity)

Summary
Phainon is dying - but no one besides Hyacine knows. He is going through Mate-Rejection which he's had since first meeting Mydeimos. Never entertaining even the thought that he was an equal or good match for the Kremnosian. It was even worse when he and Khaslana merge back together - Burdening the Worldbearer with guilt beyond words. Nightmares. Even greater self hatred. He had hoped to die in their last battle, but now he could only distance himself to make his death less of a burden.
