Summary
Noelle Holiday is Spider-Doe, and the whole world knows it. But shedding her secret identity hasn't made life as a superhero any easier. With her partner Kris (aka the Amazing Spider-Human) reluctant to put on the mask again, and supervillains targeting her and her family, Noelle feels alone and overburdened, struggling to balance her responsibility to protect the city with the needs of her own life.
So when an unexpected power-up finds her, in the form of a strange bond with a symbiotic lifeform, she welcomes the alien entity into her mind and SOUL. Anything to help her survive the threats she faces as Spider-Doe.

Summary
When December Holiday stumbles out of the woods in the middle of a snowstorm seven years after her mysterious disappearance, disoriented and amnesiac, Noelle thinks her sister's return is a miracle. But her joy is not destined to last. Because when Dess came back, she didn't come back the same.
The old Dess never used to sleepwalk. The old Dess wouldn't go out in the yard at night and start feverishly digging in the dirt with her bare hands. The old Dess didn't stand over her sister's bed, watching her sleep and whispering things in her ear.
In the light of day, this new Dess can almost pass for the old one. But in the dark dread of night, Noelle becomes increasingly convinced that something is deeply wrong with her sister.
