At the moment, all he saw was the bottom edges tinged with purple, like an ugly bruise. "

[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]

Of course, Kaveh would never force Alhaitham into doing something he didn’t want to, but selfishly, he wishes that his boyfriend would dramatically profess his love with all the cheesy, flowery words from the books he buries his nose in. Perhaps he’s not worthy of such verbosity.

Kaveh opens both eyes in order to narrow them at Al-Haitham, his gaze scrutinising and surprisingly sober all of a sudden. “Are you jealous?”
Al-Haitham stops walking then, causing Kaveh to trip over his own feet. Studying him carefully, he considers this for a moment before replying, “Do you want me to be?”
