Summary
That night, he sees Juyeon in his dreams. He stands, between the waves, a good distance from the shore. Changmin calls out to him, asks him to come back to the safety of the land before he is swept away by the current, but his words get lost underneath the gentle mumble of the waves. Juyeon only lets himself be pulled deeper, holding a hand out to Changmin, a silent invitation. Then he falls, backwards, disappears beneath the surface. Water laps softly at Changmin’s feet, but he just digs his toes into the coarse sand. He can’t, shouldn’t really, follow Juyeon if he’s going to be pulled under as well.
