Summary
In between the sister desert cities of Piltover and Zaun sits the Firelight Observatory, far enough away from them both for the telescope to get a clear view of the sky. Astrobiologist Jayce Talis dreams of finding new life, out among the stars. He knows it’s out there, no matter what people tell him—he’s seen it, experienced it, felt its touch. But Jayce's mind is a trap, falling into dark places in the face of the constant questioning of his work and beliefs.
And on a clear, lonely night, when the doubting words in Jayce's head are the loudest, the lilting voice of a radio host beckons him onwards and teaches him to reach for the stars.

“Perhaps you should be, too,” Jayce taunts.
“Should be what?” Viktor carefully asks.
“Full,” Jayce drawls out, that playful smirk still dangerously curling his lips as he shifts forward, “of me.”
