“What’s so interesting up there?”
Rudo licks his teeth under his lips, considering. He didn’t even realize she noticed what he was up to. Was she observing him first? Still, there’s a few ways to take that question. What would make him sound the least crazy?
“There’s no stars,” he settles on, choosing to be direct. No point in pretending otherwise. Maybe she’ll even know the answer to why.
Several moments pass, long enough that he glances at her from the corner of his eye to find her with a blank expression, then Riyo hums, confused.

Summary
'Caloric theory' was a precursor to the mechanical theory of heat. In caloric theory, heat was a physical, measurable liquid, constant in the universe, which flows from hot to cold, always conserved. It was in many ways a successful theory, almost explaining the nature of the world, yet it left distinct holes that indicated how it was incorrect.
It's so easy to step down the wrong path. So easy to have something good, almost successful, only to misstep and falter at the last moment. But even failure can result in something beautiful, something worthwhile. Something worth preserving.
Izuku and Ochako are married, and they decide to have a child. It is both the best and worst decision they ever make together. For better or for worse, in sickness or in health, 'til death do us part. Until they meet again through infinity.

Summary
If two systems are both in thermal equilibrium with a third system, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other. A system's entropy approaches a constant value as its temperature approaches absolute zero.
Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka's love for each other was infinite, yet that wasn't enough to keep them in orbit together. Not even gravity was great enough to protect them from the outside forces of their reality.
But through infinity, they found each other again at the speed of light, until they reached their ground state: absolute zero, as time stops and they are able to love again.
They can love each other and their daughter, their infinity complete.

Susie is holding hands with a boy. Noelle wonders why she’s dreaming about this.
Susie falls to her knees and clutches Kris’ limp body and she keeps holding hands with the boy, the boy that looks like Kris’ brother. Noelle thinks absently that this is a scarier dream than she’s ever had, and that Kris’ blood is matting in Susie’s hair as she tries to find their heartbeat.
Then Susie stands up, and Noelle knows with absolute certainty that Susie is going to kill her. Kris’ face reflects in Susie’s axe as she swings it back, and in the split second before Noelle blacks out, there is still an expression lingering on their face. Relief.
