Summary
“What I’m trying to tell you is that you don’t have to feel lost and broken alone. I’m here, for as long as you want to.” Steven assured, inhaling his sightly wet curls.
As much as Marc tried so hard to tell himself Steven would be better without him, still, a small part of him wanted to believe in his words. He wanted to share his pain, his doubts and insecurities with Steven. Marc wanted to have the assurance that even if they didn’t share the same body anymore, they still were one.
Or, Marc’s thoughts on not sharing the same body with Steven anymore.

Summary
Now that they've been given separate bodies, Marc struggles with all it is that gave him the DID to begin with: the PTSD, the dissociation and depersonalization, the panic attacks, the triggers, the trauma, and the flashbacks he can’t switch out of reliving.
Steven struggles to accept the pain and sufferings they have endured, yet remembers nothing of.
Jake struggles to like or appreciate the separation, and hopes Marc and Steven never find out he's still working for Khonshu.
Life's a bitch, but they make it work. Together. For each other.
