Bobbi has poured all of her time and effort into getting recognized in the ballet world and it pays off gets ready to head off to the 'Youth American Grand Prix' finals in Scotland where every major company will be assessing her every move. It's going to be the most important two minutes of her life on that stage. And everything looks great, she is nearing her prime, she is already on American company's radars and has an amazing duet partner she works well with. Things seem to be aligning for her until her partner gets injured days before they were set to head out, and the only person who is able to replace him, is the director's son. The same son who currently hated her because she pushed him away.

Jack had accepted that he was, in fact, a little pathetic where Samira Mohan was concerned. It didn't bother him, really. He'd known real love once before in his life–knew that, despite the jeering he'd often received from the men in his unit, there was nothing embarrassing about devotion. At least, there hadn't been the first time.
Still, he couldn't help but feel a little stupid sitting in a bar on his night off, surrounded by coworkers, only for the hope that Samira might make an appearance. It wasn't like anything was ever going to come of it–he'd also made his peace with that–but he didn't see the harm in brightening his nights with the prospect of seeing her.
