(Based on what happened after S1E15 finale)
Santos saw him put his hand over his face as he rubbed it down from forehead to chin. I mean she was empathetic to his situation, but it didn’t make her brain rewire as she saw Dennis to be a bit too virtuous; seeing him in a state like that kind of reassured her that he wasn’t a robot. She still felt bad about the guy though,
“How long have you been living like this?”
“About a month.”
“Damn.”
“. . .”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry but damn.”
“Can we move on?”
“Pfft- From that, no way. I don’t know what rules you followed when living in that hospital room but just know it might be a little bit different here.” Santos instructed a few things that he needed to do from simple hygiene and personal pet peeves. Not like she worried about him with the bills since somehow, he at least smelled normal when working with him, but rules are rules.

Trinity is fine. Completely fine. She had everything under control. Definitely not having a breakdown on her bathroom floor.
When everything crashes at once, it’s not the hospital that catches her. It’s her roommate, who refuses to leave. Trinity absolutely does not appreciate it (she does).
