I'm writing an Eden fic and I recently made major changes to my outline that cut out a lot of scenes. This one is the most coherent and lacks the least context to understand.Mindless Devintchie fluff where Devin talks a little bit about his time being possessed by Eden. Very head-canony and possibly has a few parts that don't make sense (since its being taken from a greater narrative that no longer exists). Takes place in early season 5 when they're still getting to know eachother.

Of course, from his experience of reading TWSA, he knew the 1863rd Yoo Joonghyuk was full of anguish and misery and would bring chaos to this world either way, though it felt like it was worse when he saw it for himself. The Han Sooyoung in this worldline was also significantly more manipulative and cruel.

They are warm and comfortable under the covers, holding each other like they could drift apart in the middle of the night.
"When I die, keep searching for me Kim Dokja, please watch over this soul of mine. I promise I will find you and we will say hello again."
The Universe was kind.
The Universe made sure they would meet.
She knew they'd fit into each other's lives just right, Kim Dokja thinks, tracing the scars filled with so much memory and importance on the other man's chest.
Yoo Joonghyuk won't live forever, but there's something of him, what some call the soul, the little part in him that belongs to the earth that will be returned, reused, and that will live on.
When the time comes, Kim Dokja knows what he will do.
He'll travel. Travel all over the world. He'll see the cities and the seas and all kinds of views and creatures. He will know when he finds him again. Maybe the prettiest shell on a never-ending beach. Maybe a wild flower peeking from the snow. Maybe a bird singing in the early mornings.
Kim Dokja has spent infinity without a purpose.
He can spend the rest of it through Yoo Joonghyuk.
"We have time," Kim Dokja says, instead of any other thoughts in his head. "We have all the time in the world right now."
