When Gerhard opened his eyes after hearing someone call his name, he was no longer lying under the plum tree behind his grandmother’s house. He woke up in an old-fashioned tent, and the sweet scent of ripped plums became nonexistent as he found himself smelling a reek of dry blood. It was even more confusing when he discovered he had transmigrated into the novel he had just finished reading and was living a new life as one of the main villains: George Russell.
