"Ah, would you mind if I..?"
He brushed two fingers along the side of his own neck to demonstrate. His skin was smooth and airy like risen bread dough, and smelled of a chaste dab of frankincense, wafted forth by the motion. Crowley flicked his tongue.
He wanted to refuse, of course, but he found it difficult to voice. His indignation had melted away in an instant, and caramelized into something that now moved through his blood like molten sugar. Sluggish, and warm. Was the angel so corrupted now that he'd attempt to perform a temptation? It felt like how Crowley had imagined a proper temptation would.
"Nuh," managed Crowley. He noticed that he'd lifted his chin, just slightly. Unbelievable. Like some demure vampiric offering.
"Wonderful!" Aziraphale gasped when his fingers met scales.
OR: Crowley needs some liquid courage to confess why he changed his infernal name, and why he never wants to hear it again. Aziraphale helps him to feel more comfortable in his demonic traits, and unlink his snakehood from his Fall.
