Summary
On the screen was perhaps the most confusing headline Shane had seen in all his years in the spotlight.
‘Is Montreal’s Shane Hollander Having an Illicit Love Affair with Boston’s Cliff Marlow?’
Shane blinked twice, his mind slamming to a halt as he read and re-read the words. “What the fuck?”

Summary
Would they get into trouble with their own team over this? Probably.
Would it be worth it?
Abso-fucking-lutely.
“He’s doing it again,” Dykstra stage-whispered, pulling Ilya back to reality. “It’s getting weird.”
Bood nodded. “Yeah. How he actually managed to land Hollzy with that creepy smile is beyond me.”
Ilya snorted. “Fuck off, idiots.”
“Ah,” Wyatt made a cheerful noise. “He’s back! We missed you, Cap.”
“But we’d also appreciate it if you could stop grinning like a lunatic,” Chouinard said, pointing at Ilya’s face. “You look like you’re about to become the Metros’ worst nightmare.”
OR
For months, Shane has been treated like an outcast—branded a traitor by the city he once called home. Now he can’t wait to leave Montreal behind for good. Yet, determined to keep his dignity, he takes part in one final fan event to raise money for a children’s hospital.
On the surface, it’s simple enough. Fans exchange money for an autograph, a picture and a fleeting moment with their former hero—nothing Shane hasn’t done countless times over the past decade. This time, however, his final obligation to the team doesn’t end the way he expects.

Summary
“It’s two o’clock in the fucking morning, Ilya.”
Ilya’s eyebrows screw in, and he swirls around to look at his computer. Shane bathes in the light of watching the time dawn on Ilya, whose face then morphs into an expression of fear and worry.
Then, he is clicking around on the computer and the machine cuts off. Finally,
“Ah, moya lyubov—“ Ilya starts,
“I swear to God Ilya, if you don’t get to bed right now.” Shane concludes for him.
Shane doesn’t mind if Ilya plays his games. However, when his precious sleep is in the crossfire, his boundaries are being pushed.

Summary
Summer at the cottage was supposed to be relaxing. It turns into everything but—when Ilya drops “I could marry Svetlana” for an american visa like it’s a grocery list item. Shane’s face says over my dead body while Ilya, delighted, teases him for looking ready to commit “murder-suicide.” (He’s not wrong.)
Shane Hollander has one big problem: he can’t let Ilya Rozanov marry anyone else. Not now. Not ever. So he does the unthinkable and proposes the most boring solution imaginable almost by accident.
