Prince Maekar, though still deep in grief expected to be summoned to the capital as Hand of the King. When Brynden Rivers was given the office instead, instead of sulking, he demands that his son Aemon be sent home from the citadel instead, as payment for the perceived slight. His brother was only too happy to agree.
